6. How to filter leads

Scraping gives you a big list. Filtering turns that list into actual leads.

Not everyone you scrape is worth messaging. Many are bots, inactive users, or totally irrelevant to your niche. That’s why filtering is one of the most important steps in the process.

If you’re using Autogram, this is super easy—no spreadsheets or manual sorting required.

Autogram's Built-In Filtering System

Inside the dashboard, you can instantly filter your scraped prospects using:

✅ Good Keywords

Keep only profiles that include niche-relevant terms like:

  • realtor, coach, agency, medspa, gym, etc.

❌ Bad Keywords

Exclude profiles that include spammy or irrelevant terms like:

  • forex, crypto, giveaway, dropship, etc.

📉 Follower Range

Target accounts with a realistic follower count:

  • Min followers: e.g. 100 (to filter out dead/burner accounts)

  • Max followers: e.g. 500,000 (to avoid influencers or big brands)

Example Use Case

Let’s say you're targeting real estate agents in Dallas. You could set:

  • Good keywords: realtor, real estate, broker

  • Bad keywords: forex, crypto, artist , meme

  • Follower range: 200 to 10,000

This quickly filters out junk and leaves you with real, active professionals—aka leads who might actually reply and book a call.

Once filtered, you can copy or export the clean list straight to Google Sheets or CSV—ready to load into your outreach campaign.
