9. Campaign setup and strategy
Having the perfect message means nothing if you’re sending it wrong. The way you organize, schedule, and track your outreach directly affects how many replies—and booked calls—you get.
Here’s how to turn your filtered leads and crafted messages into a consistent, scalable campaign.
Campaign Structure
Think of your outreach like a funnel with three stages:
Prospecting - Scrape & filter your leads
Outreach - Send your cold DM openers, and get to the pitch
Convert - book calls, get clients
Running this as a campaign (instead of randomly DMing people) helps you stay organized and measure what’s working.
Send Strategy: How Many, How Often?
If you’re doing this manually:
Start with 5-10 DMs/day to avoid getting flagged, and increase by 5 DMs/day daily (Up to 30-40 DMs/day max)
Buy aged Instagram accounts for outreach, don't use your main account
You can use sites like z2u.com or bulkaccountsbuy.com
Keep warm-up periods in mind (Instagram doesn’t like sudden spikes)
If you’re using Autogram:
Account warmup is fully automated, and each account sends up to 50 DMs/day after warmup
Messages are auto-sent with built-in delays to mimic human behavior and avoid detection
You can manage multiple campaigns and see reply stats
💡 TIP: Cycle between multiple variations of your opener to avoid spam detection
As with any form of cold outreach, volume trumps luck — make sure you are consistent with your outreach, and doing as much volume as you can, in order to get the best results.
Outreach isn’t about luck. It’s a system. When your campaign is set up right, replies and calls become a daily thing, not a once-in-a-while surprise.
